OTTAWA – August 19, 2024 — Tenants cut the ribbon on a major facelift of the entryway and common areas at Hintonburg Place.
Thanks to the Welcome Home program, the lobby and hallways are much brighter. This program, which places significant value on tenant involvement, allows tenants to pick the colour schemes, giving them an active say in their community and making them feel truly integral to the community’s development.
This program and other community improvements are part of OCH’s Strategic Priorities to build new affordable housing and preserve existing buildings to continue to provide for current and future OCH residents.
The work involved:
- The installation of new mailboxes and ceramic tiles on the entryway wall
- Installation of new ceramic flooring in the lobby and hallways
- New lighting
- New paint in the lobby and hallways
Quick facts
